When you think Valentine’s Day, what are the first words that come to mind? Romance, love, CHOCOLATE, flowers, teddy bears, lace. It’s no wonder that Boudoir Photography really thrives around this romance filled holiday. Sexy, boudoir photos make a great gift for your significant other, but this is also something I very much consider to be a gift to yourself.
This wasn’t Victoria’s first time modeling or her first photo shoot. Her experience tied with my guidance, you can see not only how beautiful she is, but how strong her confidence is.
There’s a lot of fun that comes with a Boudoir photo shoot, especially getting pampered. I’ll always recommend having your hair done, and getting your makeup done. On my side of the shoot, skin tones are much easier to edit when they’re smoothed with makeup, but also, women generally feel more confident with a great hair day and good make up! You can selfie away, but every woman deserves to have incredible photos of herself where when she sees them, her reaction is “That’s ME!” with pride.
Victoria told me she’d be bringing some fun props to shoot with; I was excited to see her vision. I’m not gonna lie, when she dragged the teddy bear out of her car, we both laughed so hard. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one so big. She also brought along some fun props like bottles of Ace of Spades, Dom Perignon, and two dozen red roses. Talk about portraying a dreamy Valentine’s evening! This photoshoot was headed in the right direction.
We focused on a few simple poses for each outfit and setup, and we were both blown away with the photos. I used only natural light and a film filter to edit these. I didn’t feel the need to do any heavy airbrushing, Victoria is a bombshell!
These photos were specifically shot for her instagram feed. With the elite bottles of champagne tagged in each post, and Victoria’s confidence radiating through each photo, we really gained a lot of attention.
